Public Institutions should not be involved in Politics..

I found out that political candidate’s boast about been endorsed by governmental institutions, or organizations like the police or the fire department. I see there a big-time conflict of interest. The public servants should not serve anyone else but their constituents other the Favors need to be paid back with the distribution of the city resources.  As consequence, we have a city general budget distribute mostly on two institutions, the police and the fire department. We have tax initiatives / measures in discussion proposed by both current Mayor candidates, Sandoval and Rodriguez.

Government institutions or offices should not be involved in politics.
